All Out Africa Family Camping Toilet Block

eSwatini, Malkerns, 2023

All Out Africa (AOA) enlisted our expertise to design a family ablution block for their campsite at the Bushfire Festival. The objective was to craft a permanent structure that could serve both the festival's needs and accommodate AOA tours throughout the year. Our aim was to develop a sturdy, practical, cost-effective ablution block that could be utilized as a unisex facility or divided as required.

We opted for a straightforward approach, using basic materials laid out in a grid pattern, complemented by a mono-pitch roof design. Despite the challenges, we successfully completed the construction of this structure in just four weeks, ensuring its readiness for the 2023 festival.
